Work. In Progress. Action Labs are highly interactive “salons” that are divided into two 45-minute action sprints, followed by a 30-minute Ask Me Anything session. During the action sprints, we guide you through questions, processes, and personal capacity building exercises that accelerate the specific equity and inclusion work that you are doing within your organization.

Lab One / february 18, 2022
In this Action Lab, you will have the opportunity to map out the specific “push” and “pushback” that you are experiencing in your workplace as you lead toward more equitable talent sourcing. We’ll “workshop” strategic arcs to help you structure the push and navigate the push back that you are facing. You’ll leave with insight, strategy, and tactics to move you forward in your specific situation.

Lab Two / march 18, 2022
An important aspect of Audacious Leadership™️ is building capacity and endurance to engage and disrupt systemic oppression. This Action Lab focuses on building emotional range and effectiveness by guiding you through the creation of an Emotional Lexicon - a resource that will deepen your ability to assess, process, and articulate in the most challenging of leadership “hot seat” scenarios.

Lab Three / april 15, 2022
This Action Lab focuses on three specific phrases that arise during the push for more equitable talent sourcing, and how to shift the framing when they arise. We will guide you through the consideration of the following phrases and an alternate framing:
“We don’t want to lower the bar” versus “We need to lower the barriers”
“They aren’t out there” versus “We don't know where to find talent”
“We can’t find talent” versus “Talent isn’t choosing us”

Action Lab Briefs
Included with each Action Lab is a 2-3 page Brief that summarizes the key themes, strategic and tactical resources, and discussion insights from the action lab. The briefs will capture the framing of key issues and perspectives, themes that emerge from the discussion, specific scenarios that create fear for leaders and approaches for engaging with and stepping through that fear.
